In the new Uzbekistan, care for the elderly, their social and legal support, and increased political activity were raised to the level of state policy. This article analyzes the results of the policy of social protection of the elderly for the next five years and the practical actions taken to further improve the sphere: the essence of the law, the adoption of decrees and programs and issues of their implementation.
